Recent Releases

We've had a couple of significant releases lately that we wanted to call some attention to. On Dec 1st, we released the holiday album The Carol Commission by pro group m-pact. This fantastic collection of holiday songs were extremely popular throughout December. Two weeks later on Dec 15th, Take Note Acapella's debut album Take Note featuring singles "You Raise Me Up" and "No Air". That same day saw the release of Stanford Mixed Company's Yours Truly featuring single "I Will Follow You Into the Dark".
December 18th marked the release of A Cappella Record's first debut single: "I'm On A Boat (A Cappella)" by Acquire A Cappella. Produced by Acquire and ACR's founder Chris Crawford and Harmonics director, Charlie Forkish, this single has appears in the top 3 when you search the word "a cappella" on iTunes and Amazon MP3.
On December 22nd, A Cappella Records teamed up with the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America (CASA) to put out a holiday compilation called CASC: Christmas A Cappella, Vol. 1. This includes a variety of professional groups including Cluster, BaSix and m-pact.
Kicking off the new year, we released Off the Record from Duke University's Lady Blue. The all female album contains the single: "How to Save a Life". That same date saw the digital releases of The BU Treblemaker's 2008 live album Live from a Cardboard Box and their 2009 EP Bite-Size. Singles include "Rome Wasn't Built In A Day", "Feeling Good" and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered".
Today, we bring you three albums from m-pact just in time for their big headlining performance at the Los Angeles A Cappella Festival. These albums contain a plethora of amazing tracks. If we had to recommend one, check out: "Change In My Life".
