CASA's 2009 installment in the Sing series, sing six: sunny side up, showcases a massive array of talent, musical style and artistic ambition. Featuring seven original songs (including a record four originals by collegiate groups) and tracks in four different languages, sing six broadens your horizons and expands your musical palette. The Hyannis Sound opens the album with a mind-boggling cover of Boston's "Foreplay/Longtime". Up-and-coming vocal sensation Sonos gives a sultry rendition of The Jackson 5's "I Want You Back". And for the first time, CASA is proud to feature a group from its own Contemporary A cappella League (CAL), The Red States, and their fresh, spunky cover of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance".

SING V: Groovus

Sing V continues the proud tradition of bringing together outstanding artists whose work would otherwise go unnoticed with some of the biggest names in contemporary a cappella. Sing V features previously unreleased tracks from Italian X-Factor champions Cluster as well as New York sensation Naturally Seven. Tracks from off the beaten path include Lilli Lewis's "Sanguine Song" and Mauf's "Freedom". Finally, the very finest of collegiate a cappella is represented by, among others, Rutgers Casual Harmony, from their astonishing self-titled album, and the Stanford Harmonics, whose rendition of "Sound of Silence" blurs the line between cover tune and performance art piece.

Sing IV: Good Medicine garnered a perfect score of 5.0 on RARB for its outstanding mix of risk-taking and artistic integrity. Reviewer Brian Haverkate raved, "Sing IV: Good Medicine has hit this one out of the park with one effortless and powerful swing that is beautiful to watch sail over the fence." Following on the heels of the critically-acclaimed Sing CD, sing2 represents a slice of the very best that contemporary a cappella has to offer. The CD supersizes your listening pleasure by adding five additional tracks to the mix of stellar music. The compilation includes six original songs from the pop and r&b worlds and several previously unreleased tracks. Called the "BOCA + CARA" of the former Alliance for A Cappella Initiatives, the album reached beyond its Southern roots to deliver some of the most amazing tracks coming out of North America. A little background: Sing: A Vocal Explosion was released in the Fall of 2003, at the 1st annual SoJam a cappella festival.

The album showcases many of the best Professional and Collegiate a cappella groups from across the Southeastern United States, ranging from Washington, DC to Orlando, FL. With a broad mix of covers and originals, including tracks from Da Vinci's Notebook, Blue Jupiter and even a four and a half minute vocal percussion solo, the compilation was well received within the a cappella community, and was chosen as a RARB Pick of '04. No matter your musical tastes (so long as they were a cappella), Sing offers something for everyone.
