VoiceMale
Brandeis VoiceMale is a nationally-acclaimed a cappella group hailing from Waltham, Massachusetts. Since the mid-90s, this group of young men has spent every waking moment in pursuit of perfection, developing a coherent sound and identity along the way. Historically, VoiceMale's musical endeavors have been mostly in the live performance arena, but their hit album from 2003,Propeller, changed all that. By winning a CARA for Best Male Album of the Year, VoiceMale entered onto a new path, one that has led to numerous other accolades and nominations for these recording efforts. Now, VoiceMale is thrilled to make available some of the group's most recent songs, here on the 2008 teaser release, Where's the Album? - The EP.

Where's the Album? is a four-track sampler from VoiceMale, and this little compilation has already earned the opening slot on BOCA 2009 ("Where's the Love [Remix]") and CARA nominations for Best Soloist ("Lately") and Best Song ("Where's the Love"). Pushing the bounds of any previous work, VoiceMale set out to push the envelope. How does a musical group faithfully pay tribute to such revered talents as Stevie Wonder and Queen, yet still define this as clearly unique and creative work? With this release, VoiceMale puts that question to rest. The group did not stop there with innovation, as VoiceMale did something the group had never done before - a remix.

- The culmination of this past year (May 2009) officially marked the fifteenth anniversary of VoiceMale! With alumni present from many different generations, the group completed the year with a grand and celebratory final show. VoiceMale now boldly begins its journey into the next generation of uncharted musical terrain!
- Amidst this celebration, the group also released a brand new, full-length studio album, Suit Up. This album, featuring songs from Where's the Album? - The EP, is one of VoiceMale's finest products to date. The songs come from many different musical genres and generations, but are now brought together into one cohesive and impressive work. Featuring two original songs, VoiceMale's latest album is sure to provide you with richly detailed pieces, as well as an easy and enjoyable listen.
