DeltaCappella

DeltaCappella is a vocal band rooted in the heart and soul of the Mississippi delta. Oblivious to racial, ethnic, and age differences, the members of DeltaCappella make music that is a unique and richly textured blend, as varied as the delta itself.

Audiences love their sound - and even more, they love seeing such an improbable collection of people on stage who are the real deal. And they love what they hear - great songs presented the DeltaCappella way, delivered sans instruments and with shimmering harmonies, heart-thumping vocal percussion, and full throttle dynamics.

From their home concerts in the Memphis region to as far away as Las Vegas, DeltaCappella has received enthusiastic standing ovations when opening for Take 6 and for Naturally 7. Deke Sharon, founder of the Contemporary a Cappella League, and a member of the House Jacks, has said of the group, "DeltaCappella is one of America's most exciting new singing groups. They are poised to lead a revolution in the way people enjoy and participate in singing."

The DeltaCappella EP is our first studio recording. Since DeltaCappella began performing together in 2007, fans have continually asked for something to take home from our exciting live performances. We've finally recorded six of our most popular songs and put them on this EP. The songs are the most requested; the soloists are the most in demand. And we've perfected them with a little tweaking in the studio, so you'll download these songs to your iPod and listen to them time and time again. It will just whet your appetite for our full-length album that is forthcoming.
