BU Treblemakers

The Treblemakers were formed in 1996 around three fundamental ideals: fun, love, and music. Sticking close to those values, the Treblemakers have become Boston University's premier co-ed A Cappella group. Dozens of talented alumni and current group members have contributed to the Treblemakers' five incredible studio albums, multiple International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) appearances, and countless gigs that have brought smiles and laughter to all. Today, the group, known for its diverse repertoire, energetic performances, talented soloists, and musical proficiency, still rallies around the fun, love, and music that has been passed down through the generations of Treblemakers.

Bite-size was recorded and released in 2009 and is the Treblemakers' most recent release. This six-song EP is a recession-friendly offering of some of their most current repertoire. With a little bit of soul and a little bit of pop, the album covers an array of genres and truly shows off the diverse talents of the group's soloists. This album pairs with the group's previous release, Live From a Cardboard Box, to showcase how the group has evolved. The quality of the two albums speaks alone for the growth and talent of the group since it's founding. Recording was once again done by Adam Hadas while mixing and mastering were done by John Clark.

Live From A Cardboard Box

Live from a Cardboard Box was recorded and released in 2008. It is a culmination of years of hard work. After years of not being able to record, the Treblemakers raised the money to produce a stellar album. With a carefully chosen twelve tracks showcasing renditions of songs by artists such as Stevie Wonder and Justin Timberlake, this album shows the diverse talents and interests of the group - some members preferring pop and some loving the oldies. Recording was done by Adam Hadas while mixing and mastering were done by John Clark.
